Job summary

State of Washington Dept. of Social and Health Services is hiring a DDA Developmental Disability Case Resource Manager for the Lynnwood Field Service Office in Region 2.

The role focuses on advanced social services and specialized case and resource management for individuals with developmental disabilities, including eligibility determinations and coordinating services. The position supports a hybrid work model with in-office days during onboarding and travel within Washington state.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences or allied field and two years of experience providing social services to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Or six years of experience in providing social services to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Or 12 months as a Case Resource Manager Trainee.
• Or Equivalent experience/education.
• Graduate training substitutes for one year.

Responsibilities

• Identify eligibility criteria needs of applicants/clients
• Schedule and conduct face-to-face home visits and living quarters with clients and families
• Complete and revise client assessments and person-centered service plans within established timelines as required for caseload
• Coordinate service authorizations with Child Developmental Services (CDS) and County Entities
• Testify at administrative hearings as needed
• Obtain translation and interpretation services for clients and families when needed Identify clients or families in crisis and make emergent referrals as needed to appropriate authorities, department/administration services, state plan services, or local community resources
• Establish and maintain complete and accurate case files, provider payment records, planned service written approvals/waivers
• Professionally represent DDA and participate in community and agency meetings
