Job summary

Franklin Fitch is seeking a Desktop Engineer on a hybrid basis to support ~450 global users. You’ll troubleshoot desktop, app, networking and endpoint issues, and lead projects to improve reliability and end-user experience. Strong automation mindset and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with technology, SDLC practices, change management, and opportunity to grow technically within a financial services setting.

Qualifications

Experience providing high-quality desktop support to a large user base.
Strong problem-solving, analytical and collaborative approach.
Experience using GenAI/AI tools to improve productivity.
Familiarity with endpoint management and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality technical support to ~450 users globally.
Troubleshoot complex desktop, application, networking and endpoint issues.
Administer and improve endpoint management and business applications.
Identify repetitive processes and use automation to improve efficiency.
Lead projects focused on reliability, performance and the end-user experience.
Work across teams to resolve more complex technical issues.
Contribute to change management, SDLC and operational best practices.
