Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation in Chicago is seeking a desktop engineering professional to enhance the end-user computing experience through automation, troubleshooting, and day-to-day support of desktop and mobile environments.

You will maintain and improve end-user computing systems, strengthen security posture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable user experiences across Windows and macOS endpoints.

Qualifications

Experience with Windows desktop operating systems and enterprise deployments.
Experience deploying apps enterprise-wide using modern tools.
Scripting language experience for automation.
Active Directory/Group Policy support.
Experience with Microsoft Exchange.
Profile management experience.
3+ years in desktop engineering or end-user experience roles.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot application installation, performance, and runtime issues in desktop/mobile environments.
Maintain and patch OS base builds and endpoints, including updates and vulnerability remediation testing.
Package deployments for end-user environments using Omnissa AppVolumes.
Manage FSLogix profiles and on-call support.
Provide input on End User Experience improvements and automate processes.
Support deployment/configuration of macOS/iOS devices using JAMF Pro.
