Job summary

Larimer County Department of Human Services seeks a Deputy Division Manager to lead multiple programs within the Benefits and Community Support Division. You will plan, develop, and deliver services, directing operations and personnel to ensure timely, effective support for residents.

You will guide policy implementation, supervise staff, manage training, and collaborate with agencies. A strong background in public assistance and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience in a directly related human services or public assistance field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities including supervisory or administrative experience required.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees policy and procedure standards and evaluates the performance of assigned programs.
• Develops and manages the division's standard training program.
• Facilitates regular staff/supervisor meetings and coordinates with departments and agencies; updates supervisors on current agency, state welfare reform, and related issues.
• Reviews and evaluates programs; recommends development or restructuring of programs and staffing resources.
• Assists supervisors in resolving complex complaints and conflicts with staff, clients, and vendors.
• Participates in local and state-level committees and boards related to assigned activities.
