Job summary

Indiana Youth Institute (IYI) in Indiana is seeking a Manager, Data & Evaluation to transform data into actionable insights for youth-serving partners and policymakers. You’ll lead data analysis, reporting, and the annual Kids Count publication, while developing evaluation frameworks, surveys, and data briefs to support organizational learning.

You will travel within Indiana, present findings to diverse audiences, and collaborate across teams to ensure accuracy, clarity, and impact of IYI’s data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, social science, education, psychology, evaluation, research, data analytics, or related field.
• Three to five years of experience in evaluation, data analysis, research communication.
• Experience designing surveys and collecting feedback.
• Ability to travel throughout Indiana.
• Youth services, nonprofit, education, philanthropy, or public-sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from state, national, organizational, and programmatic sources.
• Develop data briefs, reports, visualizations, and materials that communicate findings clearly.
• Identify emerging trends and frame data for stakeholders.
• Maintain a consistent voice across IYI data publications and content.
• Translate technical information into narratives for diverse audiences.
