Job summary

United Way for Greater Austin seeks a Data and Evaluation Manager to lead data collection, analysis, reporting, and evaluation across programs, initiatives, and partnerships. You will develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations that communicate key performance indicators and outcomes, ensuring data quality and usefulness for learning and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience with data management, research, performance measurement, evaluation, analytics, or related work.
• Nonprofit or public/private sector experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred in related fields.
• Strong experience creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Experience with data governance and HIPAA/FERPA familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection, analysis, reporting, and evaluation activities across programs and partnerships.
• Develop, maintain, and update dashboards and data visualizations communicating KPIs.
• Provide technical leadership for data extraction, transformation, and documentation.
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot issues; support continuous improvement.
• Prepare reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
