Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Co is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and manage data pipelines across multiple ERP environments. You will build medallion-architecture data layers and partner with BI teams to ensure accurate, governed data for self-service reporting.

In this hybrid role, you will mentor junior developers, participate in security and compliance practices, and contribute to a cloud-first modernization effort across our data platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-7+ years of data engineering, ETL/ELT development, or database development.
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-ERP environments is a plus.
• Strong SQL and relational databases; NoSQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines from source systems into a governed data platform.
• Develop and maintain Bronze/Silver/Gold data models and schemas for a single source of truth.
• Lead technical build-out of the data platform in support of cloud migration and governance.
• Mentor SQL Developers and establish standards for pipeline design.
• Collaborate with BI developers and stakeholders to translate requirements into data structures.
