Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking a Data Engineer to architect, develop, and manage data pipelines across multiple ERP environments. You will build Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers and ensure a single source of truth for analytics and reporting.

The role includes mentor/leadership of SQL developers, collaboration with BI teams, and governance across Epicor/Eclipse ERP integrations. This hybrid role requires proximity to a Crescent branch.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in data engineering or ETL/database development.
• Experience in multi-entity or multi-ERP environments is a plus.
• Strong SQL and relational DB skills; NoSQL a plus.
• Cloud data platforms experience; Google Cloud preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop data models for Bronze/Silver/Gold layers.
• Lead data platform modernization for cloud migration.
• Mentor and guide SQL developers on the team.
• Collaborate with BI developers and stakeholders on data needs.
• Document data flows, transformations, and architecture.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across ERP instances.
