Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models across multiple ERP environments. You will help govern data quality and partner with BI teams to empower self-service analytics.

The role emphasizes platform modernization, AI-assisted coding practices, and indirect leadership of the data platform team. A hybrid work arrangement near a Crescent branch is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-7+ years in data engineering or ETL/database development.
• Experience in multi-entity or multi-ERP environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from sources to governed data platform.
• Develop and maintain Bronze/Silver/Gold data models and schemas.
• Lead data platform modernization including Google Cloud migration and auditable processes.
• Mentor SQL Developers and codify standards for pipeline design.
• Collaborate with DBAs, BI developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
