The role spans line of business, region, and department scope with collaboration across IT, data analytics, and risk management teams. The position emphasizes SME-level knowledge of underwriting processes, data-driven insights, and cross-functional leadership to promote continuous improvement and innovation within a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, math, finance or related field required.
• 5+ years underwriting or related experience.
• Experience with data gathering, financial analytics, and trend identification.
• Strong change management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze data to determine business requirements delivering customer value.
• Act as SME for underwriting systems, processes and workflows.
• Monitor and improve underwriting workflows in Appian and MS PowerApps.
• Drive automation, alternative data use, and AI initiatives.
• Develop and test MS Power BI dashboards; assist in test case creation.
• Translate business requirements into technical user stories for IT changes.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration for project delivery.
