Job summary

American Modern Insurance Group, Inc., a Munich Re company, seeks a Senior Underwriting Consultant-Operations Lead to initiate and manage critical underwriting deliverables. The role supports training, data analytics, and agent-facing initiatives across cross-functional teams.

You will liaise with Innovation & Digital, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and Operations to drive automation and data-driven improvements, building tests, requirements, and dashboards as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, math, finance or related field.
• 5+ years underwriting or relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with data gathering, financial analytics and trend identification.
• Strong ability to manage requirements and translate to technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze data to determine business requirements delivering customer value.
• Monitor underwriting workflows in Appian and MS PowerApps; communicate with leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with Innovation & Digital, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and Operations.
• Develop and support industry-leading data analytics and insights for leadership.
