Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Plumbing Designer for our fast-moving Data Center market in Miami. You will design plumbing and utility packages, and prepare construction drawings for DWV, potable water, process drains, storm drains, and domestic water systems.

You will ensure schedule and technical quality while coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team. The role requires at least 6 years of experience in industrial plumbing design, proficiency in Revit, CAD standards, and strong knowledge of plumbing

Qualifications

6 years of experience in design of plumbing systems for industrial facilities.
Experience generating design documents adhering to CAD standards for plumbing design packages within an A&E firm.
Trade School or Associate Degree.
Proficiency in Revit.
Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to plumbing design.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with a dynamic team with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

Layout and design of Plumbing systems for data centers.
Development of Conceptual and Preliminary design documents including sizing calculations, isometrics, riser diagrams, details, fixture schedules, and arrangements.
Development of final construction documents for domestic water, sanitary waste & vent, etc.
Coordination with other disciplines and plumbing engineers to develop a plumbing design package.
