Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an energetic Plumbing Designer focused on the Data Center market. You will design plumbing/utility packages for data center clients and prepare construction drawings for DWV, potable water, process drains, storm drains, and domestic water systems.

You’ll manage schedules and ensure technical quality while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop the plumbing design basis and package.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years’ experience in the design of plumbing systems for industrial facilities.
• Demonstrated experience generating design documents adhering to CAD standards within an A&E firm.
• Trade School or Associates Degree required.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to design of plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of Plumbing systems.
• Development of conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including calculations, isometrics, riser diagrams, details, fixture schedules, and general arrangements.
• Development of final construction documents for domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, etc.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
