Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Plumbing Designer for its fast-moving Data Center market. You will design plumbing/utility packages for data center clients, including DWV, domestic water, and storm/drainage systems.

You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality while coordinating with multiple disciplines to meet client expectations. Bring 6+ years of experience, Revit proficiency, AutoCAD familiarity, and a strong knowledge of plumbing codes.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in the design of plumbing systems for industrial facilities.
• Demonstrated experience in generating design documents adhering to CAD standards for plumbing design packages within an A&E firm.
• Trade School or Associates Degree.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to design of plumbing systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a dynamic team environment with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of Plumbing systems for data center projects.
• Development of conceptual and final construction documents for domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, and related systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and develop plumbing design packages.
• Manage schedules and ensure technical quality of tasks.
