Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Plumbing Designer to deliver plumbing design solutions for data center clients, focusing on DWV, potable water, and related systems. You will develop design packages, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and manage construction drawings for industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of plumbing design experience in industrial facilities.
• Experience generating design documents adhering to CAD standards for plumbing design packages in an A&E firm.
• Proficiency in Revit and working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Solid knowledge of codes and standards for plumbing systems and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of plumbing systems for facilities.
• Develop design documents, including calculations, isometrics, riser diagrams, details and fixture schedules.
• Prepare final construction documents for domestic water, sanitary waste/vent and related systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design quality and schedule.
