Job summary

SWIFT in Manassas, VA seeks a senior network engineer to lead Datacenter Network Infrastructure initiatives. You will work with the Product Owner and squad to develop, test, configure, upgrade, and maintain the datacenter network in line with requirements.

You will deploy lifecycle management, collaborate with customers, document and operate solutions, and perform deployments/upgrades with emphasis on automation and continuous improvement in a hybrid on-site/work-from-home setup.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
10+ years of solid work experience in networking.
5+ years of Cisco ACI, Tetration, NDO & NDI (or Orchestrator), APIC.
Experience with Cisco ACI architecture, APIC operations, and policy-based networking.
Familiarity with Firewall technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint).
Expertise on CISCO IOS-XE, ACI-OS and NX-OS.
Strong knowledge of routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, VRF, VDC).
CCNP certifications with ACI specialty are a plus.
Experience with hybrid or cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
Automation and scripting using Terraform, Ansible, REST APIs, CI/CD.
Incident response and troubleshooting of complex network issues.
Monitoring tools like SevOne, Wireshark, OpsManager, Splunk.

Responsibilities

Work with Product Owner and Squad to develop, test, configure, upgrade and maintain Datacenter Network Infrastructure.
Deploy Network Infrastructure and Life Cycle management per change processes.
Collaborate with internal and external customers following DevOps/Agile principles.
Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Implement and operate network solutions with the team.
Perform network deployments and upgrades using network management software.
Investigate network incidents and execute corrective actions per availability targets.
Manage carrier infrastructure maintenance for all SWIFT locations.
Engage with Architecture, SOC, Security and Ops teams to integrate networks.
Automate, educate and share knowledge; support DevOps environment.
Develop yourself and others in a true DevOps agile environment.
Be open to weekend deployment activities and on-call rotations.
