Job summary

Sienna Systems Corporation in Ashburn, Virginia is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for the CBP ENAESS program. You will own design decisions around Cisco ACI fabric, F5 load balancing, Firepower firewalls, and data center migrations.

This role is hybrid with about 35% travel to data centers and field locations, offering a signing bonus for CBP BI qualified candidates and a robust benefits package including a 401(k) with matching, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to pass CBP background investigation.
• 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 14 years without a degree.
• Production experience with Cisco ACI fabric.
• Production experience with Cisco routing and switching and Cisco Firepower firewalls.
• Hands-on F5 LTM and/or GTM load balancing.
• Knowledge of DMZ architecture, circuits, and security appliances.
• Willingness to travel approximately 35%.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, design, test, and implement network solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Own and extend the Cisco ACI fabric.
• Design, implement, and tune load balancing across F5 LTM/GTM.
• Lead colocation, data center migration, and equipment relocation activities.
• Develop design documentation and drive it through peer review and security approval.
• Coordinate change requests and follow change management procedures.
• Test networking hardware, software, configurations, and tools; remediate issues.
• Manage software/firmware upgrades and patching; automate where possible.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support for outages and write-ups.
• Collaborate with security and operations on monitoring and traffic visibility.
