Job summary

METRIX IT SOLUTIONS INC in Phoenix seeks a Senior Network Engineer (L4) to lead the implementation and optimization of Cisco ACI and hybrid cloud networking environments. You will provide technical leadership, advanced troubleshooting, and contribute to high-level network design activities.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on data center networking experience, cloud connectivity, automation, and strong cross-team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with Cisco ACI fabric and policy model.
• Strong knowledge of spine-leaf architecture and multi-pod/multi-site designs.
• Experience with hybrid-cloud connectivity (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex networks.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, configuration, and optimization of Cisco ACI fabric components.
• Design ACI constructs: VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, contracts, and policies.
• Implement segmentation and micro-segmentation in ACI environments.
• Oversee ACI fabric maintenance, upgrades, and health checks.
• Coordinate with architects on high-level design and validation.
• Design and implement hybrid connectivity (AWS, Azure, GCP) with Direct Connect / ExpressRoute.
• Configure cloud networking and routing for hybrid workloads.
• Lead automation initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Develop runbooks, templates, and scripts for repeatable deployments.
• Provide knowledge-sharing and mentor junior staff.
