Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams, panel designs, and 3D models for data centers, semiconductor, and manufacturing facilities.

You will join global teams, manage project schedules, and collaborate across disciplines. The role uses BIM360, Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD to deliver world-class facilities, with a hybrid work policy and a base salary range of $74,700 to $100,000.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
