Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to shape data center, semiconductor, and other industrial facility projects. You will develop P&ID diagrams, 3D models, and 2D drawings while collaborating with global teams on aggressive schedules.

You will leverage BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to deliver panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and control system designs, with a hybrid work approach across Jacobs offices and remote locations in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering
• Experience in instrumentation and controls
• Familiarity with P&IDs
• 2+ years of BIM design experience
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects
