Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams and panel layouts for advanced facilities, including data centers and semiconductor environments. You will work with global teams to deliver high-quality designs and manage project schedules across multiple facilities.

The role requires hands-on BIM design using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, plus a strong grasp of instrumentation and controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiar with P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design state-of-the-art data centers and facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial control systems.
• Collaborate with global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage schedules and reports.
