Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Designer to develop P&IDs, 3D models, and control-system drawings for data centers, semiconductor and other manufacturing facilities. You’ll collaborate with global multidisciplinary teams and manage schedules across projects.

The role requires an Engineering degree and BIM design experience, with a hybrid work policy and a salary range of $74,700 to $100,000, paid hourly within the stated band.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering
• Experience in instrumentation and controls
• Familiarity with P&ID diagrams (P&ID)
• 2+ years of BIM design experience
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor facilities, and other manufacturing facilities
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects
