Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Construction Project Engineer III for an on-site role supporting our Hyperscale Data Center EPCM projects in Spartanburg, SC. You will manage project information, coordinate documentation, and help ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality standards.

You will collaborate with the Project Manager and team, applying financial awareness and proactive problem-solving to drive project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience with a general contractor, construction manager, or large trade contractor.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of cost controls and reporting.
• Familiarity with MEP systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in change management and cost reporting.
• Contribute to monthly cost reporting with insights.
• Apply project controls procedures including cost tracking and pay apps.
• Coordinate material procurement to maintain schedules.
• Review shop drawings for accuracy and contract compliance.
• Organize and distribute project documentation across stakeholders.
• Promote innovative solutions and customer-focused delivery.
• Mentor junior team members and foster collaboration.
• Understand market sectors and delivery methods to improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with PM and project team to ensure success.
