Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Construction Project Engineer III for our on-site Hyperscale Data Center project in Spartanburg, SC. You will manage project information, coordinate documentation, and help ensure delivery on time and within budget.

As a key contributor, you will collaborate with the Project Manager, support cost reporting, procurement, and risk management while promoting high quality standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience with a general contractor, construction manager, or large trade contractor.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of construction cost controls and reporting practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in executing change management processes.
• Contribute to monthly cost reporting meetings with insights.
• Adhere to project controls procedures and cost tracking.
• Coordinate material procurement to maintain schedules.
• Review shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.
