Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Project Controls/PMO professional to join our team in a hybrid arrangement (home and office). You will coordinate project management functions across the project life cycle, support budgeting, scheduling, and reporting, and interact with project leadership, clients, and vendors to deliver results.

The role emphasizes advanced MS Excel skills, data analysis, and the ability to create workflows and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction or engineering internship, co-op, or work experience with project controls, planning, scheduling, and earned value, preferably within the power industry.
• Knowledge of field/site work sequencing across civil, structural, electrical trades in the power, heavy civil, or commercial construction industry.
• Experience within the energy, power, or utility industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project management functions throughout the project life cycle.
• Implement project controls and project management tools and methodology.
• Assemble data and documentation for project team and client requests.
• Create workflows, processes, flowcharts, and procedures.
• Support contract processing and new project setup.
• Develop and compile periodic project reporting for monitoring and decisions.
