Materion is seeking a Customer Support Specialist in a hybrid Cleveland, OH role. You will serve as the primary contact for orders, inquiries, and documentation, coordinating with sales, operations, and quality teams to ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in customer support within a manufacturing setting, proficient in MS Office and SAP/CRM tools, and a proactive team player committed to continuous learning and process improvement.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma (some college preferred) or Bachelor's degree.
• 3-5 years of experience with customer support.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiar with advanced alloy systems & other engineered materials solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exemplary interpersonal skill in dealing with customers.
• Capable of working independently.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
• Ability to learn Materion SAP, CRM, and Enterprise software tools.
• Positive and a good team player.
• Willingness to participate in continued education opportunities to enhance skills and proficiency.

Aufgaben

• Be the single point of contact for customers, internal and external for order management activities.
• Receive and process orders and inquiries from current and prospective customers.
• Monitor the status of orders and often initiate contact with customers to confirm delivery requirements.
• Answer questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms via email/phone.
• Quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications as required.
• Administer order entry including invoices, certifications and export paperwork.
• Maintain & verify customer records using automated systems.
• Meet or exceed KPI targets for delivery, quality, and service.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Manufacturing Site Operations, Planning, Shipping & Quality teams.
