Job summary

Synthomer plc is seeking a Customer Solutions / Order Management professional in Ohio to coordinate orders, respond to customer inquiries, and collaborate with Sales, Production, Logistics and Finance teams. The role emphasizes data integrity, process improvement, and strong customer service in a global manufacturing environment.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, CRM and sales experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CRM and sales/shipment experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate order status and serve as primary contact for customer inquiries (pricing, product info, delivery tracking).
• Receive, process, and own customer purchase orders, including complaints, returns, credits/debits, and requests.
• Coordinate actions to meet international and domestic customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Logistics, SHE, and Customer Financial Services to improve service quality.
• Create and maintain accurate customer master data and related information.
• Support global Customer Solutions standards and cross-functional projects.
• Assist Performance Chemical customers with orders, delivery times, pricing, and regulatory issues.
