Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery in California is seeking a Customer Service Representative 1 to serve as the liaison between customers and the company. You will handle residential account inquiries, billing questions, and requests.

The role supports multiple office locations including Concord, Pittsburg, and Oakley; assignment will be made after hire. The position offers a hybrid-remote schedule, competitive benefits, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with MS Office Suite, including Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, or through email communications.
• Assist customers with routine account-related requests such as understanding their bills and services, taking payments, creating work orders, and updating account information.
• Balance cash drawer and process payments.
• Maintain customer account information and collaborate with coworkers to improve service.
