Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery is seeking a Customer Service Representative 1 at our Concord home office to serve residential customers with billing, inquiries, and service requests.

You will act as a liaison between customers and the company across multiple office locations including Concord, Pittsburg, and Oakley. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills, with after-hours work possible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Adequate typing speed.
• Experience with MS Office Suite including Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management, organization, and prioritization.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
• Positive team player.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer inquiries in person, by phone, or email.
• Assist customers with billing, payments, services, and account changes.
• Process work orders and update account information.
• Balance cash drawer and handle payments for transactions.
• Walk-in customer assistance for payments and debris box orders.
• Collaborate with team to improve customer service and processes.
• Follow company policies and city/state regulations while servicing customers.
