Job summary

Revere Electric Supply is seeking a Customer Care Representative in Buffalo Grove, IL. The role supports internal and external customers via appropriate communication methods in a timely fashion, working in conjunction with Sales to provide a total solution to inquiries.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, PTO, 401(k) with company match and a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days remote after training). Local candidates only; no relocation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; some college preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of customer service best practices.
• Minimum of one‑year customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains customer relationships.
• Proactively communicates with customers regarding all aspects of order management (pricing, availability, delivery, expediting).
• Pursues product applications utilizing internal resources and vendor representatives.
• Uses Conexiom, WOE and EDI for order processing.
• Customer Portal responsibilities for bid and order entry.
• Utilize vendor portals and websites for timely information.
• Complete Rockwell, MVP and NAED trainings.
• Build relationships with vendors to offer solutions.
• Work in a strong team environment while maintaining high personal performance.
