Job summary

Journal Technologies, Inc. seeks a CTO to lead technology strategy and engineering across enterprise software platforms.

You will champion a customer-centric, scalable architecture approach and drive modernization while balancing product needs and security. You will recruit and grow a high-performing team, partner with executives, and guide technology investments, with a focus on governance, agile practices, and cross-functional collaboration across the company’s North American and international

Qualifications

12+ years of software engineering experience with leadership roles.
Experience leading and scaling engineering teams and enterprise platforms.
Deep expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, cloud-native design, APIs.

Responsibilities

Define multi-year technology vision and roadmap aligned with company goals.
Lead customer-centric product development and align with user needs.
Identify technologies and opportunities to strengthen products and create new value.
Advise leadership on technology investments and partnerships.
Oversee modernization, security, and data governance across platforms.
