Job summary

ITAC Solutions is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to own a mission-critical platform and build a strong technical team. You will shape the roadmap, decide on technologies to deploy, and interact with end users to align product direction with business goals.

You will lead with hands-on involvement when needed and manage hiring decisions, while driving cross-functional collaboration and strategy across engineering, product, and operations.

Qualifications

• Infrastructure-focused technology background from a small, lean shop.
• Hands-on when required to solve critical issues.
• Strong proficiency in MySQL, including data exploration and anomaly detection.
• Experience as a technical generalist across multiple technologies and systems.
• Proven management experience with full hiring and personnel authority.
• Excellent written and oral communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing health and improvement of a core technology platform, including data flow and processing to end users.
• Build and lead a technical team with hiring authority.
• Put a coverage plan so critical systems stay supported around the clock.
• Act as main technical liaison to business leadership for planning.
• Turn big-picture priorities into actionable team plans.
• Engage with end users to understand needs and drive changes.
• Explore where AI tools fit into workflows and drive that effort.
