Journal Technologies is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead a multi-year technology strategy and architecture across the organization. You will drive customer-centric product development, align engineering with business goals, and champion scalable, secure platforms.

You will recruit and develop a high-performing tech org, guide Agile practices, and partner with executives to prioritize investments, governance, and risk management.

Formación

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in senior technical leadership.
• Proven experience scaling engineering organizations and enterprise software platforms.
• Deep expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native design.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering; advanced degree a plus.
• Excellent communication with executives, engineers, customers, and partners.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute a multi-year technology vision and roadmap for Journal Technologies.
• Lead customer-centric product development and align teams to user needs.
• Identify emerging tech and market opportunities to grow product value.
• Advise executives on tech investments, build-vs-buy, and partnerships.
• Define architecture principles for scalable, secure, modular systems.
• Promote reuse of services, APIs, and components across products.
• Modernize the technology portfolio while balancing debt and new capabilities.
• Lead engineering with ownership culture and continuous improvement.
• Maintain modern engineering practices balancing speed, quality, security.
• Support Agile and Scrum-at-Scale transitions across the organization.
• Partner with other departments to align priorities and resources.
• Translate technical concepts into business terms for stakeholders.
