Job summary

Ruan is seeking a Customer Service Representative for the Brokerage unit in Des Moines. The role offers a hybrid schedule with on-site work at the Ruan Campus and remote work, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities include loading and scheduling, data entry in the TMS, and coordination with the Broker Team to maintain customer relationships. The successful candidate will have 1–2 years in transportation or logistics, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong communication,

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred or equivalent work experience
• Course(s) of Study: Logistics/Transportation/Business
• Experience: 1-2 Years in transportation or logistics involving dispatch and customer service

Responsibilities

• Appoint pick up and delivery of loads.
• Enter loads into the system, by manual entry or EDI acceptance.
• Assist in alerting customers to assessorial instances and operational occurrences.
• Review scorecards with the Manager of Business Dev. and Accounts and with Account Managers to improve service.
• Troubleshoot OSD / Claims / RMA situations with clear, concise, collaborative communication.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
