Job summary

Ruan Transportation Management Systems, Des Moines, IA, seeks a CSR to manage loads in the TMS for Broker Team coverage, including load building, acceptance, and appointment scheduling. You will interface directly with customers and work with Accounts Management to cultivate relationships.

The role operates on a hybrid schedule with on-site work at the Ruan Campus in downtown Des Moines and remote work each week, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and involves coordinating pickups, inquiries,

Qualifications

• Appoint pick up and delivery of loads.
• Enter loads into the system, either by manually building or through EDI acceptance.
• Alert customers to assessorial instances and operational occurrences as applicable.
• Reviews scorecards with Manager of Business Dev. and Accounts along with Acct Managers in order to improve how we service each account.
• Assist in trouble shooting OSD / Claims / RMA situations by providing factual, concise, collaborative communication between customer, appropriate Ruan personnel, Ops Manager, and Account Manager.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Job description

This position offers hybrid schedule: mix of on-site at the Ruan Campus in downtown Des Moines and remote work each week
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 7:30A - 4:30P
CSR ensures that loads are prepared correctly in the TMS for coverage by the Broker Team, to include load building and acceptance, appointment scheduling, etc. Interfaces directly with customers and cooperates with Account Management team to cultivate customer relationships.
