MTA Construction & Development seeks a Contract Specialist Level 1 to support procurements for the Capital Program. You will help award consulting contracts, prepare RFPs, and assist in contract documentation and reporting, under supervision.

Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of relevant experience; telework is available one day per week. This is an entry-level role in the Contracts/Contracting Services division, based at 2 Broadway, NYC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering, Finance, Law, Government Contracting, or a related field.
• One year of business experience, preferably with exposure to contracts and procurement activities.

Responsabilités

• Support the Contracting Services division to facilitate procurement and award of consulting contracts, including RFIs/RFPs for design, project management, and staffing.
• Create contract files documenting procurement and decision-making to promote efficient operations.
• Generate reports for agency executives and staff on Capital Program matters.
• Provide status updates on tasks to senior management as required.
