Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of project accounting experience in a complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and project costing.
• Experience with milestone-based, long-term, or cost-reimbursable projects encouraged.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience; NetSuite preferred.
• CPA and construction/engineering/energy/utility sector experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project revenue, costs, accruals, and profitability reporting.
• Support percentage-of-completion accounting, WIP/CIP, and project billing.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close deliverables.
• Analyze project performance and variances in costs and margins.
• Partner with project managers to review forecasts and financial results.
• Assist with commissions, inventory-related accounting, and audit support.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
