Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support day-to-day financial operations on a contract basis. This role handles AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close activities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities across departments. Hybrid work may be available after onsite training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience supporting month-end close activities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize workload and work independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
• Perform bank account reconciliations and research discrepancies
• Manage client-related financial transactions, deposits, disbursements, and account activity
• Support month-end close processes and assist with financial reporting
• Maintain accurate accounting records and organized documentation
• Respond to accounting, billing, and payment-related inquiries
• Monitor account balances and ensure transactions are recorded correctly
• Assist with cash management and payment processing activities
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support daily accounting operations
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Assist with special projects and additional accounting responsibilities as needed
