• CPA and construction/engineering/energy/utility sector experience a plus.

This is a hybrid, 3-5+ month contract opportunity located in Arlington, TX ideal for an accounting professional with strong project costing, WIP/CIP, revenue recognition, and financial analysis experience within project-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project revenue, costs, accruals, and profitability reporting
• Support percentage-of-completion accounting, WIP/CIP, and project billing activities
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close deliverables
• Analyze project performance and investigate cost and margin variances
• Partner with project managers to review forecasts and financial results
• Assist with commissions, inventory-related accounting, and audit support
• Contribute to process improvements, automation efforts, and system enhancements

Qualifications
