Job summary

Zurich North America seeks an experienced Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter, Construction PL, to join our Specialties Construction team. This role offers a hybrid schedule and can be based at any Zurich office location within the South or Western regions.

You will handle complex Construction Professional Liability accounts and serve as a Subject Matter Expert, building strong broker relationships and working with Select Brokers across the US.

Qualifications

• Underwriting or market-facing experience required.
• Knowledge of insurance laws and rating rules.
• Experience working with brokers and agents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer underwriting rules and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain broker/distributor relationships.
• Identify renewal and new account opportunities.
• Provide guidance to junior staff when needed.
