Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking an experienced Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter, Construction PL, to join our Specialties Construction team. This role is hybrid and may be based in any Zurich office in the South or Western regions.

The position will be filled at either level based on candidate experience and qualifications. You will handle complex Construction Professional Liability accounts and collaborate with brokers and distributors across the US, leveraging your underwriting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience in underwriting or claims
• Knowledge of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business
• Experience with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors and customers.
• Provide guidance to lower level associates.
• Proactively seek renewal and new account opportunities.
• Complete detailed opportunity assessment with key distributors to identify growth opportunities
• Make broker/customer and on-site calls with a planned purpose
