The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Cabinet for Health and Family Services, seeks a Construction Superintendent II to lead capital projects across state-owned facilities in the DBHDID. You will evaluate facility conditions, support planning, and ensure projects move from concept to completion.

The role requires managing scope, schedule, and budget, coordinating with OAS, DFM, and external stakeholders, and ensuring safety and compliance on all construction activities.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Six years of experience in construction-related roles (estimator, general contractor, architect, engineer, construction superintendent) or supervising trades in major projects.

Mansioni

• Provide training and act as a resource for DBHDID facilities staff; coordinate with OAS, DFM, and stakeholders to keep projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Conduct comprehensive inspections of Department-owned facilities to identify deficiencies and risks; prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Contribute to the Six-Year Capital Plan by evaluating needs, costs, and impacts; advise leadership on priorities.
• Review project docs in E Comm; monitor expenditures, evaluate change orders for compliance, and flag risks with mitigation.
• Coordinate between general contractors and facility leadership to ensure safety and minimal disruption.
