Job summary

Target is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Minnesota to lead store and distribution center projects, managing scopes, budgets, and timelines while coordinating with vendors, general contractors and field leadership. You will review bids, negotiate contracts, monitor budgets, and ensure quality control across projects.

This role offers a Hybrid/Flex work arrangement with periodic travel and a focus on delivering on-time, on-budget results.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of project management, store planning or purchasing experience.
• Ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects with focus on estimating, budgeting and scheduling management.
• Ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills; public speaking experience.
• Periodic project travel; Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule and budget for Target construction projects.
• Coordinate on-site construction process and turnover with vendors and GC partners.
• Review and approve contractor bids; negotiate contracts; approve changes and payments.
• Monitor budgets across departments; ensure project stays on track.
• Ensure Target quality control standards on each project.
• Support cross-functional teams and adapt to business needs.
