Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join the Store Development team. Based in NYC, the role offers hybrid or remote work with travel up to 50% to grow scoop shops across 12 markets.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in construction development and 3–5 years in restaurant/fast casual builds, with a proven track record of on-time, on-budget delivery. Salary is competitive with 120k–135k USD and an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in a similar role supporting development and/or commercial construction projects.
• 3–5 years in restaurant/ fast casual/ counter service construction.
• Proven success delivering projects on time and on budget.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple scoop shop construction projects across markets.
• Coordinate with landlords, engineers, GC, vendors and consultants.
• Lead bidding, contracts, change orders, and cost tracking.
• Review drawings for compliance with lease obligations and standards.
• Ensure permits and variances are obtained and documented.
• Communicate project status and actions to all participants.
• Oversee turnover, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
