Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Construction Project Coordinator to support the project management team in Paarl. You will assist with administrative, logistical, and documentation tasks, coordinating with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on track.

The role requires 1–3 years in a similar construction coordination or administrative position, solid organizational skills, and a basic understanding of construction processes.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a project coordination/admin role within construction.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and PM principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with PM software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in planning, organizing, and directing construction projects in Paarl.
• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and correspondence.
• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and assist in preparing progress reports.
• Coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Manage site logistics, including equipment and material scheduling, and assist with site safety documentation.
• Process project-related invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and efficiently.
