Job summary

Tier4 Group in Baltimore County, MD, is seeking a Construction Licensing & Compliance Manager to expand across states. The hybrid role combines onsite collaboration with leadership to maintain licensing, registrations, compliance, and administrative infrastructure to support growth.

You will build processes, manage multi-state filings, monitor regulatory changes, and partner with operations, legal, finance, risk management, procurement, and executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting contractor licensing, regulatory compliance, or related ops.
• Experience managing multi-state licensing and compliance requirements.
• Strong research, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively identify solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractor licensing, registrations, renewals, and filings across states.
• Research licensing requirements for new markets and expansion.
• Maintain compliance tracking tools, renewal calendars, and docs.
• Coordinate licensing applications, records, and approvals.
• Monitor regulatory changes and inform leadership.
• Support COI requests and compliance documentation.
• Develop jurisdiction-specific compliance matrices.
• Provide status updates and risk assessments to leadership.
• Create reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
