Job summary

Banner Life Insurance Company is seeking a Licensing Case Manager in Frederick, MD, offering a hybrid work arrangement. The role handles agent contracts, appointments, terminations, renewals and related licensing tasks to meet productivity and quality standards.

You will review contracts, perform due diligence, set up agent records, communicate with agencies, and ensure compliance with state regulations while providing strong customer service and administrative support.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 3+ years in customer service/administrative roles.
• 3+ years communication and processing experience.
• 1+ years of phone experience.
• Knowledge of life insurance products.
• Life, Property and Casualty or Health insurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute agent contracts, appointments, terminations, renewals and licensing tasks to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Review agent contracts for completeness and accuracy; communicate missing information to agencies.
• Set up agent master/hierarchy records for correct contract levels and commission structures.
• Review due diligence reports to ensure compliance and proper approvals.
• Appoint new agents across states; review state responses and correct information to appoint agents.
• Index documents in image queue accurately per productivity/quality standards.
• Research and resolve agent problems (Unknown Agent, Hierarchy Error, Invalid state, etc.).
• Process address changes and commission changes/agent transfers.
• Review state renewal listings to verify active appointments.
• Review DOI termination advisories; terminate agents and notify agencies.
• Answer calls with good customer service; respond to voicemails and emails within 4 business hours.
• Complete other assignments and goals as directed.
