Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to support the firm’s risk management by handling conflict of interest resolutions for new client intake, drafting waivers, implementing information barriers, and coordinating with partners and counsel. You will review conflict reports, perform corporate research on involved parties, maintain databases, and ensure accurate clearance.

A strong business communications background and paralegal exposure are preferred; hybrid schedule offered across multiple

Qualifications

• Experience writing and communicating in a business environment to present information concisely.
• Experience with intake and conflicts software preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with sound judgment.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to evaluate conflicts scenarios and adapt to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and summarize conflict report results.
• Analyze and resolve potential legal and business conflicts.
• Implement information barriers and notify affected personnel.
• Draft email waivers and conflict waiver letters for new business.
• Maintain conflict information in the firm's financial database.
• Review new business intake forms to identify conflicts and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain internal conflicts database and documentation.
• Perform corporate research on parties involved to confirm relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.
