Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Typically 6+ years of relevant claims experience.
• Insurance Adjuster license within 90 days where applicable.
• Prior negotiation experience.
• CPCU or similar designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of highly complex claims with large exposures per company protocols.
• Ensures exceptional customer service with timely updates and inquiries response.
• Verifies coverage, reserves and liability by interpreting policy language.
• Leads focused investigations to determine compensability and damages.
• Develops and executes a claim resolution strategy with internal/external partners.
• Manages budgets by overseeing resources and authorizing payments.
• Identifies subrogation/salvage opportunities and fraud indicators.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
• Mentors and trains less experienced claim professionals.
