Job summary

The Colorado Judicial Department seeks a Compensation and Classification Analyst to develop, implement, and recommend compensation solutions for total compensation and job classifications, with emphasis on analysis and system maintenance.

You will partner with the Total Compensation Manager and HR leadership to provide comprehensive compensation analysis, update job descriptions, and establish salary ranges aligned with laws and department objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, public or court administration or related field.
• One year of human resources, payroll or related experience.
• High school diploma with three years of HR office experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers total compensation program for Colorado Judicial Department and ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Researches and provides preliminary recommendations on total compensation matters.
• Reviews requests for compensation adjustments and communicates progress to stakeholders.
• Conducts classification and compensation studies or projects to achieve compensation objectives.
• Makes classification and compensation recommendations using data modeling and analysis.
• Maintains and updates job descriptions and salary ranges.
• Maintains the classification and compensation system(s) of record.

Education

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, public or court administration or related field

High school diploma with three years of human resources experience
